I'm listening to the Broadchurch OST. If you've never seen this series, you need to!

All along the watchtower, the version used in nBSG. And all along the watchtower, from john wesley harding.
Almost no matter who's singing or playing it. "All Along the Watchtower" is one of my top favorites. I'm going to check those 2 out. I. Space Rock A. Melting Euphoria 1.

this is good, thanks for sharing. i follow the space/psych rock scene loosely, but i haven't heard of these guys.
btw, i like giant sand's version of all along the watchtower. it's so raw.
edit: why are you replying to a post from 2007?

Karl Pilkerton might have his own theory about 2007, and I'm willing to lean toward his side for arguments' sake, but I believe that I haven't broken a space-time barrier but have been graced by serendipity and happenstance. If it had been providence, everything would have been reset. I first heard that Melting Euphoria track from Space Box. Another selection from another good collection of Space from back in the day is "This is Space: A Star too Far".

Talk Talk - HAPPINESS IS EASY. So damn great.. April 5th is probably my favorite song off of Colour of Spring. (Also p. sure I'm not alone in regarding Colour of Spring through Mark Hollis as like, a four part album, with all the callbacks and if you take it like that it's... there's this theme that's like losing religion to find a deeper spirituality in it?) Oh that reminds me, been on a huge Sufjan Stevens binge lately. Michigan and Seven Swans are particularly giving me some really strong emotions right now. I neglected the latter in particular back in the day because of the Christian themes and I was an edgy teenager.

becomes kinda unsettling once you realize the vocodered lyric is "i don't want to kill you but i have to", doubly so because the composer of this is a vietnam war vet.
