Autechre- Elseq

Welp, Autechre (my favorite band in my early 20s lol) dropped a 4 hour album last month and I'm actually kinda getting back into them. This sounds a lot harsher than anything they've done since Confield. I like it so far.

These days I'm listening a lot to this one, and Tabula Rasa.

Update: This album rules. As much as I like Autechre's shorter stuff, they are imo best when they're working with long forms, due to the generative and constantly morphing nature of their music. You actually get to hear tracks gradually "evolve" over the course of 20+ minutes. Also despite this being their most uncompromising album in quite a while, it also has a few track with straight beats of the sort they haven't done since the 90s.
