I saw it was free and looked up a video on YouTube and made an executive decision not to download it. Not for me, thanks, but for people who are into that sort of thing I'm sure it's wonderful.

Well, yes, considering you are more of a Yakuza person, that is reasonable. You still should give Shadowrun a chance, though.

I already had it, but still haven't finished it, so I decided not to take the deluxe edition and experiment with moving save files, so I just skipped the whole thing Tongue

i got it on gog after getting free Dragonfall but saves lost somewhere on old harddrive Lips Sealed
i though its gonna ease me in to the world, but this game holds no punches, assumin you are a seasoned shadowrunner

i meant in terms of lore and player character: in sega and snes versions you had amnesia, here your character has preestablished relations and there is some casually dropped shadowrun world stuff in dialogs.
