 This is a project I've been wanting to do for quite a while, and I finally got around to actually doing it. In its simplicity, the idea is that it's a NES playing simulator similar to the likes of surgeon simulator. You play with a controller in real life, using the analog sticks to control your in-game thumbs. It's really stupid and difficult. Any ideas would be welcome :D |

Haha! This is awesome! I really want to see this succeed, so I think it is probably necessary to ask how you are including the games. Does it pick up and import ROMs? Because Nintendo is notorious for being one of the harshest video game publishers out there towards any kind of retro projects. Even though this is so obviously not a straight-forward way to directly play a Zelda or Mario game for someone who just wants to play the NES games, I could see Nintendo sending a C&D if the games are embedded.

Thanks everyone!  Here's a small update, the buttons now react to presses, and they make nice clicking sounds as well that can be heard in a future video.  Haha! This is awesome! Yeah, I probably won't be including any ROMs in the game, leaving it to the player to supply them. Not 100% sure yet. |
