Thanks for keeping us up to date, by the way! Grin

Do you participate in other game jams, too?
Which are the best game jams around?

Not usually. Been interested in Mark Brown's GMTK jam since it started last year but it's too close to LD for me. /: I suppose there are always lots of jams going on over at itch.io!

I'm somehow disappointed with the top 30 themes.
what do you jammers think bout the themes?

I'm almost never excited about any of the themes so the fun starts after I figure an idea out anyway and then get excited about that. Tongue

I always imagine what game I'd make with every theme and based on that I vote.
but this time, it's 50% from old LDs that I'm sure won't win this time either, and the rest is so bland and boring.
but I'm damn curious which 10 end up in the final round... let alone, which one wins.

There's a few that I'm a fan of because they appeal to my specific interests, but other than that I pretty much agree, I didn't really see any genius ones :p

This year's keynote was kind of boring (last year's was a Back to the Future gag that didn't focus on programming) but I haven't thought to post them here until this time, so I'll make a tradition out of doing so from now on!

LD42 theme: "running out of space"

Since it started at midnight over here I slept through the announcement as usual and got up six hours later. Was disappointed, but after two hours we've come up with something interesting, so let's do this!

Nevermind actually, I'll be too busy to participate. Sorry.

Where the Cloud Lives

Play the Game
See the Ludum Dare page

In "Where the Cloud Lives" you control the freshly hired supervisor of a new division in an established tech company: Cloud storage. Their motto is: “You never run out of space”… We’ll see how that goes.

I learned a lot about working quickly and making decisions. This was my first Ludum Dare, as well as my first finished game. Also, sorry about the mixed pixel resolutions. I know it's ugly but compromises had to be made...  Crazy

Only two other people this time? o: Looking forward to playing!

Finally got my page done after the website completely went down last night and they extended submission hour so I just went to bed (typical, since for once I actually finished with time to spare!).
