Yea the portals were bugging me, and I think it was the size of them.

Also the way the character goes sideways out of a portal, if you could add some sort of rotation that could help.

just for clarification

this is how it looks for the portals at the moment. However, it isn't working that well on other angles of the portals haha. That I need to look into.

So, what ever happened to this game? I stumbled upon this a while ago and was like, "Awesome! When does it come out?" So... the post says a few summers ago... will it "come out"?
