Love the walking trees! Enjoying seeing more stuff moving in general, even if the environments are as pretty as ever.
The white blobs in the last picture read as creatures or people in a foetal position to me, is that intentional?

Getting a start on combat (finally) with some simple sword animations. I'll probably add a swinging frame as well and make the sword visually stand out a bit more against the busy tiles. Still hoping to test some Ys bump combat too! Mostly wanting two attack types for game play preference sake but then maybe having it vary depending on a monsters weakness or what weapon you're using, short or long sword, range weapons, etc.

Thank you both! Got a bit sidetracked with a new port town mockup but I'll return to the sword mechanics again soon. And then tested to see if I'd want to have the ship tower there, along with a few other palette options.
