now that french people from this forum have remade the best metroidvania (wonder boy 3: the dragon's trap) and are bringing the best 2d beat em up series out of retirement it's time you guys started burning your nes games for warmth and learning about the country of europe and its rich computer history

Honestly I'd be more excited if the graphics were done SOR3 style only at a higher resolution and colour count.

Sweet. Does anybody remember the original streets of rage? I loved that game, so i know part 4 is going to be kick azz. When you get the opportunity, look at images of both the original and the one coming out side by side, it's like nigh and day. Graphics and games have come a long way. |

i was thinking yesterday how trying to update the character design has actually tied it explicitly to a specific time, which i guess is pretty on brand |

At least they didn't give Axel a manbun, that would be deplorable. I kinda have this image in my head of Axel retiring from the whole vigilante cop thing and gets jacked up, gets loads of tattoos and puts out a bunch of fitness DVDs. Either that or he starts patterning his life on Dog the Bounty Hunter's.

I wouldn't want to be that guy when the powerful crime syndicate that's now in its fourth incarnation rocks up looking for payback. At least Blaze looks like she had the good sense to start going to the same gym that Chun-Li from Street Fighter goes to. |

If it is as good as the second delivery we have secured the game. It seems great to me that they recover this forgotten jewel for more than two decades. I just hope that they respect the saga and that the music follows the wake of the second installment.

When is it supposed to come out? This was one of my favorite games when they came out with the first one. I didn't keep up with part 2 and 3, but I would like to see what they've done with the game.

They haven't announced the date yet, i'm happy to find out about the game though, at least something to be looking for, possibly in 2019 ? |
