I live in Florida, and I see these all the time near bushes and stuff. I sorta get freaked out and stay away cause they look so weird.

Well actually I just registered to comment on this. Despite what the video may lead you to think, that's actually a pretty common and harmless occurrence down here in South America. The ones depicted in that video were not particularly big, either. A piece of advice, covering them with band-aids or duct tape or whatever is most likely the worst idea you can ever have.
