Hi everyone,

I have some colleages who goes to gamejams, i.e.one of them did this one in Ludum Dare:

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/shooting-mama

The idea is cool (mix shooter with cooking) but will never see Steam so my question is:

How many jams saw Steam? And how much of those get real sales?

The game idea is so crazy. Never saw something as bizarre as that. My experience at game jams is that Steam does not see them, but there are some game ideas that works as a germ to create something bigger in the future.

You can check games on steam that coming from ludumdare on it's curator on steam.
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/537829-Ludum-Dare/

You can see games that released on steam has been polished into more likely we could see as a full game.
For sales, I think it depends on how polished the game when it's released for steam.
