Recommended to play with multiple game pads (local multiplayer)

Hi all.

I'm working on an open source game engine to be run in browsers (and by extension also in Electron, or as a progressive application).
One of the stepping stones is a small & simple game.

I'm looking for feedback mostly focused on technical aspects, but am willing to receive anything that comes in your mind.
