I'm looking for somebody to assist with quality assurance testing my games prior to release. This would include things like:
- testing bug fixes and new features
- working with me to establish and carry out a repeatable regression testing process
- helping to identify features to aid with testing and troubleshooting
The ideal candidate has:- an interest in games
- a decently spec'd PC
- a gamepad
- prior testing experience, whether in the game industry or otherwise (software/IT), including experience writing test cases, reporting bugs in a standard templated format, etc.
Nice-to-haves:- Android device(s)
- a Mac
- a diverse range of experience with different types of games
The work will probably be a bit sporadic at first (i.e. a few hours here and there) but I will pay a fair hourly rate, and there's potential for it to pick up if any of the games become runaway hits
The games in question, at least in the short term, are
Cosmic Ray and
Brainmelter Deluxe, FYI.
