Hi guys,
I'm Mark Tran, a self-taught game developer who loves to create fun games with unique control mechanic.
But I know that there is a gap between what I want and what I can actually archive, so I seek for your feedback for this game.
It's a playable version on Android phones.

I had a chance to play your game.  I recorded my playthrough:





- I like the ideas.  The jumping mechanics are a lot of fun and have a lot of potential.

- I love the graphics and the music.  Very cute and whimsical.

- When I clicked the options button: the game crashed (0:10)

- Since I am clicking in the opposite direction the chicken is going to jump it would be nice if there was an arrow or something to indicate what direction it was going to launch

- It would be nice if the farther away the mouse is from the chicken: the farther the jump and vice versa

- I'm not sure that the enemies are necessary.  Shooting feels a little awkward.  Maybe you can incorporate the jump mechanic into defeating enemies?

- The game is quite hard.  Especially when the breaking platforms appear.

- There are a few times I got stuck and was unable to reach the next platform: (1:44, 4:33)


Overall I think it has a lot of potential.  The jumping mechanic is very solid and a lot of creative things can be done in the levels.  I can't wait to see the progress.

Thank you for your detailed review.



I'll add this one in the tutorial section for clarifying the jump mechanic.

For the shoot, yeah now it's still akward when the game balance is still in process.

By the way, I'm launching a Kickstarter campaign tomorrow. Hope that you'll be with me and the team on the process of making this game :D.

The game will have at least 18 levels to play. The beta one's hardness is medium.
