After some experimentation, I cooked up a tutorial on how to embed a Tilengine application into a Unity project.
Tilengine + UnityIt goes through all the steps, and even provides sample files and a copy of the finished script. I tested it in Unity 5.6 and Unity 2018.3. It works just fine in both versions. It's not nearly enough to bundle into an Asset Store entry, but should provide an interesting entry-level example of how Tilengine can be implemented.
If anyone is interested, poke it and let me know how it could be improved or altered. I'm fairly certain that it should be easy enough to follow, especially for any experienced Unity developer. It should be a fairly effective way of including 2D scan-line rendering in a Unity project.
