From some feedback I got, I think I will change it a bit though.
The strong red and green pulse will be removed again.
The red pulse will only appear when the taxi is close to explode.
The repair effect of the mechanic (and repair station) will probably be shown with a smaller green pulse and small plus sign particles.
The damage effect of the saboteur will be shown as screws and gears particles.

Now the red pulse is only shown less intense when taking damage and at max strength when the taxi is almost destroyed.
I have also added particles for the saboteur and the mechanic (which is also shown at the repair station).

It makes sense if the hint is subtle in the beginning and gets more severe the more serious the situation is. Rewards cautious players while still helping those not paying as much attention

Also, the self-destructing flying into walls to demonstrate the effect make me wonder how much fun it would be to have a level where you actually try to destroy yourself :p. Or a multiplayer demolition derby mode where you try to destroy each other by flying into them and throwing them into spiky walls or something Evil

Thanks. I think it really is better than the original version.

Doing a multiplayer game in the future would be fun, but I'm more a fan of cooperative games. Smiley

"Rings": The first level using the new rings. There will be a checkpoint level (probably "Checkpoint Saboteur") with those as well. Smiley
 
It's not super easy, so it will appear in the last third of the game, I think.

I'm working on the last level of the game (the one the game ends with, not the last level I will add).
It's the level where you bring your passengers home after an eventful day of riding the taxi. Smiley

You are right. Those are a great way to make use of the rotation mechanic.
It also shows that I never know beforehand how much a new level element improves the gameplay (if it does at all). ^^

Amazing. Kiss Is it just me or are the sound effects veeery loud compared to the music?

They are? I indeed reduced the volume of the door sounds a bit after making this video. Music volume is at 70% or so I think, while sounds are at 100%. I think sounds are more important to the player than the music, but you can set it to everything you like. Smiley

"Pointy Encouragement": The third & probably last level with rings.
 
It also has a bonus gate that leads to a bonus level (unexpected, right?) where you can get some repairs & credits.
 
I might need to practice this one a bit more... :D
