This has such a cute retro-look to it Smiley

Any chance for a Linux build?

Thank you!
I only recently got a machine to test Mac builds on. I currently have no way of testing Linux builds.
I will look into this. Thanks for your interest! Smiley

The tutorial got very mixed feedback. Some liked it the way it is and others got frustrated by all the stop and go, because of the hint bubbles.

So, I am now working on "Tutorial v2":

- a very short tutorial showing the basic movement
- hints about special tasks, fuel etc. that appear when the corresponding event occurs
- have the old "driving school" and a "test range" as standalone levels

It will hopefully be available sometime during the next week.

The buttons are in now. Currently only used to switch the gravity in the new "Test Area" level where you can learn to fly.
I really like those. You cannot relly tell if it's a boing or a click, but it's satisfying. Smiley

The new demo with the "Test Range" is online.
Now I will focus on the main game again and do more levels with the existing mechanics and new ones.
I also want to break out from the tilemap look a bit and introduce larger elements.
I hope I will be able to post something new next week.

I've started to add the large tree to the game. I will add the station branches and the falling fruits next.

Here is the first level with a tree (I think I will do at least 1 more).
I think I will now do a level with buttons. Smiley

Here is a rough first approach to puzzle levels:

And now I'm going on vacation for a few weeks. Smiley

Here is the new lavaland tileset. Now only the lava is missing to finish this level. More levels with air currents (horizontal and vertical) are coming afterwards. Smiley

Looks great!

I feel like the passenger should spontaneously catch fire to make it truly complete though Tongue

Thank you! I can remember it, but I think I've played the original Space Taxi more. Smiley
But only after working on this game for a while I really got aware on how many clones there are that I never noticed before.

"Red River" is the name of the finished "air current" introduction level. It also features the new rotated platforms for the passengers.

The 16th level "Fresh Breeze" has two horizontal "air currents" and... ...isn't that easy, actually. ^^

I've added a background tilemap to add some more detail / depth to the levels. I've also added some bigger particles (leaves, sticks) to the wind to make it even more recognizable.

This is the bonus stage.
This was on the list from the very beginning, but I decided not to do it until now, because I thought it was unnecessary.
But it actually is cool, because:
- I can explain stuff that noone would read in the manual or the hints in the main menu
- You can repair your taxi a bit
- You get a breather between the increasingly difficult levels

Cute! I love it when tutorials are "hidden" into the game
