Hey odiusfly.  I had a chance to play your game.  I recorded it and these are my thoughts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waOhvcziDWI&feature=youtu.be

- I like the core gameplay.  It has that nice gameplay loop that I enjoy playing when I need to kill 5 minutes or so.

- The controls and game objects feel very tight and good to use.

- I couldn't figure out what the Lightning Bolt does.

I liked it.  Looking forward to your future work.

Cool game, it would be a fun mobile game. I really hate the stock music though -- I feel like everybody has heard this song at least once before and it doesn't fit the mood of the game. Maybe find something more atmospheric/spacey?

Hey, i tested your game and here's some feedback:

I actually enjoyed the game, the colors where nice, the movement felt very good and i overall think its a neat game that also might work for mobile. I have nothing more to critique here.

Stay crunchy.

Very cool! I think it starts out really slow though, I got bored very quickly, it felt like I was just waiting for the circles to pass by a lot instead of reacting to them.

I also really liked the short intro tutorial.

Hi OdiusFly,
Have you experimented with different controls by any chance?
E.g. what if the avatar/cursor/ship, follows your finger/mouse, rather than tapping left and right.
So from the center of the screen you calculate the angle to the finger touch, and the cursor rotates towards that angle.
It's just an idea. It could be you already tried and didn't pan out.
But if you haven't tried, you could give it a go. I'm predicting it would be slightly easier, so then you could increase the speed of the incoming arcs.

Also have you experimented with some idea of bonuses?
E.g. stars or some other pick up.
You could then have some sort of chain where if you keep picking up stars after each arc, you get more points

What about some power ups?
E.g. shield which could pop up occasionally and gives you a shield
Or a slow down power up for X seconds when it starts getting more difficult.

Presentation is pretty good, although it sometimes drops some frames on my old macbook air.
