Wirewalk is a dungeon crawler, made with only 3 colors and matching the gameboy resolution (160x144 px) and controls layout (A, B Start, Select, Dpad). Wirewalk will be released on steam, mobile, and every platform that can render Webgl.

It takes inspiration mainly in the following games/media:

- The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Wirewalk happens in a not so distant future. Because of IOT, almost every man-made tool, system or object is now connected to the Internet. A powerful mutating computer virus is capable of rendering these unusable, which is causing all sorts of real-life issues around town.

You are a programmer who build the Wirewalker, a software who gets you inside any system connected to the internet, if you have it's unique Wire ID.

In gameplay, every system you enter is a dungeon which has a boss. By freeing a system from the virus, you will help all the townsfolk -- while looking for who created the virus.

The target for game release is late 2020 --

Wow, I really like these minimal sprites and pixel art graphics! It seems like the game will have physics not typical to gba games, so I'm wondering what other mechanics may be introduced later that happen to be non-traditional.

Thanks A lot for your comment, Muninn.

I have a list of rules for what can be done in the game to keep its design and what can't:

What the game can have:
- Position, rotation and scale tweening of sprites - With or without space or time curves
- 9Patchs on menus

What the game can't have:

- Any color besides those 3
- Transparency opacity

I recently decided to implement a non-fixed camera in some parts of the game, so in that sense its a bit more like zelda a link to the past.

Thanks for laying out your restrictions! I think it's great that you are limiting yourself to only 3 colors and a few other parameters, this will be tough but super rewarding, as you may have already realized yourself. We are looking forward to seeing the game make more progress, so keep up the great work! Smiley

After Changing the tile size from 16x16 to 15x15, and moving menu to lateral, to better accomodate 720p and 1080p resolutions
