Hello,

I created a simple soft body deformation system in my 2D sidescroller in order to have animated plants and expected animations in reaction to forces. I use a PointMass system upated with Verlet integration and a simple constraint system. The code did not take long to implement and the results mostly speak for it self. I would highly recommend verlet as it is powerful for 2D physics and allows for rope mechanics and even box-box physics with orientation almost out of the box. I'll link the article I used below.
