Hey everyone! This is a tool called Tilesetter, in development since last year. The tool is capable of generating complete tilesets from base images, and lets you customize your result with configurations for inner/outer corners and all 4 directional borders.

There's also a map editor where you can see changes you make to your tileset, and from there you're able to export directly to Unity Tilemaps and GameMaker Studio 2 Rooms.

Hi Led,

Just wanted to say that this tool looks fantastic, and it's something I've been looking for quite some time: I've had a lot of tedious moments with tileset creators, so this should be the solution.

I noticed that this is in "Preorder" status, with no downloads available> I'd be very curious to try this out, but I guess it's still under wraps.

Looking forward to getting my hands on this, in the hopes you'll see this message and that something crops up soon.
