Im looking for a program that has Graphicsgale's onion skin and pressure sensitivity for tablets. An option for pressure sensitivity in graphicsgale that someone could point out to me would also help.

Graphicsgale has no pressure sensitivity options.
Try looking up Mirage by Bauhaus Software, it's like photochop made for animation.

real art looks like the mona lisa or a halo poster and is about being old or having your wife die and sometimes the level goes in reverse

That looks pretty expensive. I don't exactly have a job or anything so maybe something a bit cheaper?

I think Pro Motion has pressure sensitivity.. But it's kind of expensive too. I also wish I could use my tablet with GraphicsGale (or any pixel art program)..

I use my tablet just fine in GraphicsGale. Why would you need pressure sensitivity for pixelart?

i like pro motion -- it's $78, which is pretty expensive, but compared to the alternatives it's cheap for what it gives you; i think if you can afford $50 for games here and there (most people who play games can) you could afford $78 for something that'd potentially help your games and such; i don't even do the art for my games often but i bought a copy just for the few times when i do (one of my favorite features is symmetrical drawing: since sprites are often symmetrical it often helps a lot to draw a sprite symmetrically)

I'll probably go for promotion, does it have a demo? Also, I'm more doing this for non-pixelart animation.

what program *doesn't* have a free demo? if i remember right the demo does most of the things the full version does in fact, just with a few features like onion skinning etc. locked; i can't seem to find a feature comparison page though. this is the list of the full version's features though: http://www.cosmigo.com/promotion/index.php?Features

oh, and if it's not specifically for pixel art you may want to skip pro motion, because it's intentionally limited to 256 colors (per frame). although you can do quite a lot with 256 colors of course

I'll never need to go over 250. Even if I was going for a vectored look three colours of AA per shade is more than enough to look good.

Promotion does not have pressure sensitity, but I can suggest it to Jan what he thinks about putting it in (betatester).
Also it can do more than 256 colours if you use layers and then go to Layers > Export as Image. Quite nice, esp for mockups if you want to do some transparency stuff quickly without fudging your palette.
