Hello all, my name is James. I'm lead programmer and developer for indie game project Moldering ( http://www.devblog.projectmoldering.com ). We currently don't have enough artists to fill the world we're creating. The game is a two dimensional platformer. Two of it's main components are immersion/atmosphere and exploration, so we need a lot of landmarks and interesting objects to populate the environments. We already have a style and an idea of what we're shooting for, now we're just looking for more artists to help get involved and develop the projected 8 worlds.

We have some screen shots here so you know what you're getting into:
http://www.projectmoldering.com/photos

and here is our development weblog:
http://www.devblog.projectmoldering.com

If you want to join and think you can work in this style, the best way to do so would be to visit the 'hiring' page and submit a little bit about yourself and show us some previous work.

To get involved visit http://www.projectmoldering.com/hiring

if you have any questions you can also contact us http://www.projectmoldering.com/blogcontact , or leave a message on this thread!

Thanks for taking a look,
-James (and the rest of the development team)

PS. If I've posted this in the wrong place, please let me know how to correct this. :D

From the Projects Forum Guidelines.

Right now, this forum is for TIGForums collaborative projects only.

- This forum isn't for design without implementation.  Conceptualization should begin in Art/Design and can be moved here if the project appears like it will move forward.

- This forum isn't for finding partners to work on your own personal project.

- In general, do not start a thread here unless you've been given permission to do so by a moderator.

Ah okay. Is there a place for me to post a project like this, or is it strictly prohibited on this forum?

Thanks,
James
