Warriors and Tactics is a highly tactical turn-based battle arena game blending elements from hero shooters and tactical games.

MASTER STRATEGIC COMBAT SYSTEMS

A rich, expansive combat system that rewards skilled play. Use careful positioning, wisely combine abilities and mix attacks to crush your enemies with an abundance of combat options.
A wide variety of heroes and their unique abilities allow for many tactics and give you a myriad of ways to approach combat. Experience deep tactical gameplay that’s easy to learn, hard to master.

HARNESS THE POWER OF YOUR HEROES

Each hero has unique abilities that enable them to fill various roles in your squad such as damage dealer, support or tank. A vast array of heroes lets you create a wide variety of compositions. Tailor each squad to your playstyle no matter if it is an aggressive or a defensive one.

BATTLE IN BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED WORLDS

Fight in compact arenas of various sizes that make hero positioning extremely important. Each world features specific twists and presents you with different challenges. Carefully choose your actions adjusting your strategy to each environment and lead your heroes to victory.

PLAY FOR FUN OR COMPETITION

Play for fun or competition against other players and bots. Join friends online, face random players and play competitive PvP matches to get ranked. Warriors and Tactics has no randomness so it all comes down to your decisions.

Development Update #1

CHARACTERS QUALITY

We worked on the mesh and textures of some of the characters already present in the game. We also reskinned the characters which results in higher quality animations.

NEW WARRIOR IN THE MAKING

We have a lot of warriors planned and we are already working on some of them. We are aiming to showcase them in action as soon as possible. Can you guess which class will the character on the screenshot belong to? Wink

IMPROVED GRID OVERLAY (WITH VISIBLE PATH)

We changed the way we render grid overlay so that it is easier to see individual tiles. We also added support for animating it and as a result, we now have an animation that plays when it appears. On top of that, we added a line (visuals not final) that displays the path your warrior is going to take when moving. This is quite important when fighting certain warriors and you will learn more about that in upcoming updates.

CODE CLEANUP

There is a need for some code clean up after the prototype phase so we are actively working on it. Nothing interesting to say here, but you can always chat us up on Discord if you are interested in the details.

Development Update #2

THE GOLEM

The new warrior we showed last week is now finished. It is a tank that has a couple of cool abilities that we will be showcasing in the upcoming weeks, but now we are focusing on its animations. We also need a name for him. Got any cool ideas? Let us know on our Discord server!

MOVEMENT ANIMATIONS

That’s right! Your precious warriors no longer slide on the terrain. Along with movement animations, we introduced a couple of tweaks to the movement mechanics. It takes less time to move now which allows for more dynamic action.

TACTICAL CAMERA

We introduced a tactical camera mode that allows you to have a top-down view of the map. If you had problems counting tiles between characters or seeing if they are in a straight line hopefully this will no longer be a problem for you.

GRID VIEW

One of the most common suggestions from playtesters was that they would like to see the grid all the time. We added thin grid lines that you can toggle on and off while playing. We are still not sure if the thickness is right so we would love some feedback on that.
