Hello World! Welcome to Mistyland! It's a 2D platformer game which takes place in a mysterious world.

Mistyland is based on Unity Engine. It's currently being developed by one person. I've been working on that project for several months, so I decided to share it with you. This is my first game which I want to finish, so please send me some feedback there or on my facebook page(link below).

It's an adventure game with some puzzles to solve. This game is inspired by Dizzy series(which I'm fan of).

I've already created a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mistylandgame/

Hope you'll love it!

Hello!
Let me introduce you to the progress I made before I posted here:

- I finished an equipement system. The player can now pick up items and remove them from backpack. Items/characters that are waiting for one of that items can also react to them and e.g. Pass the player on.
- I added a simple dialogue service (or rather a monologue, the main character won't speak very often).
- I created moving platforms.
- Basic character animations and movement scripts.
- I drew a lot of things.
- and much more...

Progress over the last two weeks:

- The game has been expanded with portals that will take the player to a specific location/level.
- I have improved the audio performance (although the soundtrack and effects aren't ready).
- The main character have a new animation of picking up items.
- I added new assets and improved scripts.
- Many other fixes.

Have a nice day!

Hi! Mistyland is still being developed with new content. I created several new locations and scripted them. I fixed a whole bunch of small bugs(okay, some of them was a LITTLE bigger  Wink). Now player can craft some stuff just by combining items.

I am currently working on sound effects and I am delighted to see how several clips can "bring the game to life". Smiley

There is still a lot of work to do, but I love doing it. Creating games is really fun. Smiley

Cute!  Coffee

Thanks!  Grin

Even in the world of Mistyland you have to study!

Hi! It's been a long time since my last post. Fortunately this don't mean that I'm not developing the game. I completely changed the character animation system which gave me a lot of additional work. However, I think it will look much better. I'm currently working on creating new animations and improving those previously created. I also added a lot of new content to the game (there are a lot of secrets!).
Have a nice day!

Hi! It's been a long time since my last post. Fortunately, I passed all exams  Grin
I am currently testing various types of ragdolls. The second type of ragdoll looks good and causes fewer errors, so I think it will be better. However, I wanted to test the first of them on the trampoline. The effect is quite interesting  Wink

Dude, I love the beautiful simplicity of the art!

Do you already have someone to write music for you?

I would love to write you a track!

Hi!
Thank you! Sorry, but for now I'm not looking for a game composer. I want to make music by myself.
If I change my mind I'll let you know about that Wink

Comparing the current version to the one from last year can motivate you to further development of the game!

You can get extra life points, but be careful - in the world of Mistyland you can easily lose it!

Very nice art and I have good memories with Dizzy series, this brought me to adventuring long before I had PC. I finished all of them. Dizzy 1 to 7 on ZX Spectrum (or more precisely on its Czechoslovak variant - Didaktik M) and Dizzy 8, I played on PC already. Following you on FB. Beer!

Do you have some estimation when it will be out and how much time will take to finish it? If it's Dizzy like should be not so long.

I remember that when I moved further to another screen in Dizzy, by solving puzzle, it made me more feeling of joy than in newer adventure games I played on PC later (like Monkey Island or Indy 4). But maybe it's just nostalgia as I was much younger playing Dizzy.
