Genesis is a 2D pixel-art top-down strategy game, set on a rocky and inhospitable young planet. You can terraform the surface, creating dozens of different biomes, and customize the aliens that live there by combining body parts using a editor similar to The Sims. All of the features I have planned are not currently in the game yet, but will hopefully be soon.

Hey thanks, jbarrios for playing my game. Yeah the plants aren't finished yet, neither is the AI. The carnivores don't eat the herbivores, and the herbivores don't eat anything (yet). I'm glad you figured out how to play my game, I was extremely worried people wouldn't be able to figure it out if the game wasn't intuitive enough. It seemed like you doubted whether or not you were playing the game correctly but you got it pretty much down, despite some annoying bugs. Glad you had fun!

I updated this game a tiny bit, added a proper tutorial to go with it as well as a little bit more creature customization. If you REALLY want to, you can subscribe to my Patreon. It helps things keep moving a little bit.

It has been a while but I updated the game. Some computers experienced a "red screen of death" when playing this game, that has been fixed. I also properly added floral lifeforms into the game, to be food for the herbivorous fauna. The game still lags like crazy on Chrome, so please play this game in Firefox.
