Hello folks,

you may know me from the Curious Expedition dev log back in the day. I wanted to let you know about the new project that we're currently working on: It's called Codecks - a project management tool for game developers. Here's what it makes it special:

- Exclusively made for and by game developers
- Beautiful UX inspired by trading card games
- Just the right amount of complexity (way more powerful than trello, but not as overwhelming as Jira)
- Great multi project support
- Innovative Discord community management built-in into the core

Here's some stuff that we're working on next:
- Time tracking support
- Unity integration

Please check it out here: https://www.codecks.io/

Here is some more info on our latest feature update: https://www.codecks.io/blog/2019/discord-for-game-developers/

Looking forward to any questions or remarks you have Smiley

Cheers

I've started adopting codecks.io for my hobby project.  So far, the user experience is awesome.  Easily organized and understandable flow.  Great work, especially for a free service!

Edit:  Ah I can see now that it is only free for one user for 10 months.  Still seems like a good choice, but as a hobbyist, I will probably leave this service after the free credits run out.

I'm always looking for new PM tools and am excited to see something pop up that I haven't heard of, especially something tailored for game developers! Looking at the site though I'm trying to figure out what makes this different from something like clubhouse.io. Can you speak to some of Codecks standout features for game development specifically?

Thanks for checking it out and letting me know your thoughts! We're thinking about doing a free version for up to 3 users. Really valuable feedback on your hobbyist use case.

Thanks for the question! Specifically for game devs:
- Playful game-inspired UX (without gamification features though)
- Discord integration
- Unity integration (soon)

Also lots of more ideas in that direction. If you could choose a feature freely, what would you add which is specific for game devs?

We've been adding a ton of new functionality over the last couple of months but here is one update that I'm particularly excited about: Codecks is now free for small teams!  Beer!

 Waaagh!
Codecks is made by the guys who made Curious Expedition??? I love you guys!

Curious Expedition is one of the best games I've played last two years... It certainly goes beside Inscryption and Hades for me (and my wife). Something was really charming about it (didn't play 2 yet)

And Codecks is what I am using to manage my project. We are three developers now and we are using the free version for now. I was also planning on making a devlog about producing an indie game, and Codecks will be a big part of it.

I used many others before, I use Asana at work, and Codecks, by far, is the best (at least for Indies)

I will go check your devlogs Wink
Check out our game if you want. Youtube devlogs are coming!

Anyway. thanks for creating amazing things. keep it up!
