I am looking for a skilled programmer and another skilled 3d animator to work on a PC game with me which will begin about late next year or so. This is a full-time position which would require approximately 35 hours a week. Not sure exactly what I am looking for since I am new to the whole game design process, but the programmer part is extremely important.

I am willing to pay a salary of $50,000 / year + a certain percentage of total net profit from the game for the programmer, but this is all negotiable later so it's not a promise set in stone yet. The total working budget is $300,000, and I am trying to release a game on steam for $20 to hopefully sell 1 million copies. Does anyone here have experience with programming something like a horror game?

edit: ok maybe I lied when I said that I am "new" to the whole game design process. I do have a process in which to get this all off the ground - it's just that I have no programming experience. Also, I did help propel this one game called "Chivalry Medieval Warfare" into a successful game, which later spawned "Mordhau", one of the greatest multiplayer titles of 2019 which sold over 1 million copies thanks to my ideas. It's a good thing that I didn't tell them the super secret to turn it into a 3 million sales hit though hehe
