It is done in GMS. I had written the the Game (including a fully working adventure-"engine" and an own scripting system that allows me to easily make longer cutscenes without hazzle) within 2.5 months.
It is based on the Maniac Mansion Mania-Series (where I also got a few graphics from) but not part of it.
