I launched my game on Kongregate to get a sense of where to take it. It's a seemingly simple game but it's actually very sophisticated as the levels progress. The high dexterity and difficulty in understanding the mechanic, make it a bad game for Kongregate I think. I'm wondering where to bring it next

Edit-

Also launched on Crazy Games

Hi Wacompen, just tried and I think it's a good job.
I like so much the characters and hippie design of the game.
I think the only problem is the continuing rotation (After played for 20-30 min, can be little sick) but good game and good idea.

Cool game !
I really love the illustrations & the animations!

I would add an option to change the key binding, I am used playing games with "space" for jumps & the arrow keys for movement, and while playing your game I kept getting confused, I constantly tried jumping with the space bar and moving with the arrow keys.

Good luck ! and thank you for sharing  Smiley

Thanks, I do get that reaction a lot. A future update would be a normal side scroll mode but it'd be a much different game mechanic. The thing the circle course offers is it allows the player to continue a course and figure out how to solve the course without setting the player back. This makes the game really continuous but the games really designed for mobile so it might feel better if you played on phone. Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks!

I liked the down arrow for crouch because it represented how the character is crouching down but if things pick up, I might build an option to set your own controls. I'm also developing for mobile in which case the player presses the left side of screen or right side.

I had to take a break from this project for a few years because of burnout Crazy but I picked it back up and happy to say it's available on Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.EddyGames.HippySkate

Stay tuned for the ios version
