As a GamemakerStudio pleb, I've been thinking of trying out PICO-8 to broaden my horizon. I stumbled across TIC-80. Unlike PICO-8 it's widescreen and you can choose the 16 colours yourself. It also runs on Android, which is very nice because I can learn on my phone anywhere. A sexy mini home computer when away from home. It's very similar to PICO-8, so I'm kind of learning that too I hope. I'll probably be checking out PICO-8 too, love the games. There is also LIKO-12, Pixel Vision 8, and more.
