Hello!

Over the past year or so I have become familiar enough with NES game programming to release a half-finished project, and now I would like to build a full NES game!
I want to make this a completely "original" project, and so I'm in need of an artist would be willing to work with me in sketching out an idea for a game and seeing it through to completion.

Specifically, I would need an artist who can conform to the NES's hardware limits, similar to stuff like this (https://opengameart.org/content/dead-gunner). I can guide you through the specific limits of the NES to produce art that can be used on the console, but if you are already familiar with them that would be a plus!

As for the game itself, I'm open to any ideas the artist might have. If you've had an idea for an rpg or platformer or what have you that could be playable on real 8-bit hardware, I want to hear about it!  I'm open to any art style or idea that you have, I am not looking for any specific kind of artist other than one that wants to work within NES limitations.

I'm also open to any fellow musicians who want to join in on this project as well. I can make music myself, and I'm fairly familiar with famitracker, but having another composer who can also work in famitracker would be a big help. If you've done some tracks within famitracker (or even famistudio) and want to work together on this project, please shoot me a message!

Finally, I want to state that this project should be mainly seen as a fun homebrew project. I'm not expecting the final project to be a masterpiece, I simply want to create a fully realized game that I (and others) personally enjoy. In terms of monetization, I'm currently envisioning the project as a free, open-source project, however I am open to monetization if the final product is good enough.  My goal here is just to build a game that's fun and looks good, while showing off our skills in the process.

Below is a gif of the project that I built last year, playable on real NES hardware. The example is a platformer, but as I said before, I'm open to any other genre, rpg or otherwise.

My contact information is listed down below!
