Great article. There is some genuinely authentic advice in both of those articles. The 5-1-1 paradigm is a really helpful model for video game development. Games, unlike other software projects, require lot of experimentation and personally I've struggled with it a lot. This model gives a good starting point to manage that chaotic process.
