Hi guys!
For 2020 one of my goals is to deliver a lot of playable games. If I can make it easy to play and fun that will be a big plus. Currently, the size doesn't matter so some will be a bit bigger than others. Sometimes I will update some of them. Anyway, I want to post progress regularly here to help me stay committed to this goal and get some feedback.

OK! so far I participated in a game jam at the start of the month and was able to slap together Super Wobbly Tennis, check it out:

You can play it here on your browser: https://yxmx-rsx.itch.io/super-wobbly-tennis
Try out the android version (WIP): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.WonderfulWorld.TennisGame&hl=en_US

Alright! That's it for now. I'm going back to cooking stuff up, stay tuned! You can also follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/yxmx_rsx

To finish off the month/Starting off this month, damn I wish February was a few days longer. I made a simple spelling game. It was quite fun and I learned a lot. This type of game is outside of my comfort zone, but I'm surprised by how much fun I had.
It's surprising how much work goes into making this type of game and how necessary algorithms are. Here's a quick video that showcases the gameplay.

You can play it here: https://yxmx-rsx.itch.io/spell-rush. Also, this week is 7drl jam so I'm going to give it a shot. Stay tuned.

I got this small experiment in my hands that would fit 7drl, but I'm a bit busy this week plus I have a few elements to iron out so I don't think I will submit it for the jam. Anyway, I'll just wrap it up soon after that.

Alright, this time I participated in Ludum Dare 46. That was quite intense, I just wish I had time to add sound and more polish, but I'm happy that I was able to accomplish my main goal which was to have a playable game done in less than 3 days. I had a few non-dev related things that got in the way so I knew I had to keep things short and sweet.

I tried to code in the most pragmatic way I possibly could. Keeping code in chunks whenever possible. Doing so helps me be more flexible and faster when implementing features. Also, thanks to all the feedback and some reflection I'm now much more aware of the type of design and balancing mistakes I usually make. I'm glad I did this jam and I'm looking forward to the next one.
