Yeah... this game is pretty disturbing already.
That being said... I dunno, I think you should just make it clear what your intentions are, to avoid a Muslim Massacre scandal. It could be... I really don't know what to say. Enlightening? No. Ah, "revealing" may be a good one. Showing us how dark we can be.

wait I thought it was referencing tearing Abby's clothing? If that's what it actually is, then it's certainly a lot more disturbing.  Edit: I just read it again...  |

Hehe, yeah it is the latter. I'll reword it to make it more clear.
And yeah, I *realize* how... disturbing the content can actually become.
However, the game is likely not what you'd expect. I can't really show you guys what I mean by that until I have a demo ready... it could be a few weeks.

She's totally named Abby. I'm trying very hard for a 50s feel. So they say things like 'Gosh mister' and wear striped t-shirts on little bikes, and they're all named Billy or Sally or whatever. I'm hoping this stage will be done (graphics and all) by this wednesday. At that point, I can work on the earlier half of the game (actually catching the children on the street.) I doubt I'll make the deadline.  |

I know this has been said already, but please don't change anything to make the game less offensive if it goes against your artistic vision! I'm not so sure there's anything "artistic" about my vision. Actually, that's a lie. But to say more would reveal waaay more than I'm comfortable with (a la play mechanics.)
At least the dialogue and everything is done. I think it came out okay. I'm not exactly a professional writer or anything like that. I gotta get back into high gear and get this done!

Mm, yeah, I guess the latter is more repulsive only because it's still a commonly observed behavior today, as opposed to cannabalism, which went out of style around the 1890s. |
