Hello! I am working on a game for a few months, it is playable in the browser on itch.io! It is a mobile game.

Gameplay: You preview the map, see what monsters are in the level then equip the right objects to the player. When you press start, the character moves, jumps and fights by itself. If you made the right decisions he will finish the level.

What I'd like to know I'd like to know if the gameplay is entertaining. What is online at the moment is just a Demo, it is not polished at all, I want to know if the game is good before spending too much time on it.

Hello jbarrios, thank you for your video! It's the first time I can see someone play the game and in addition to the feedbacks I witnessed a pretty big bug ha ha.
On Level 1 when you selected the bonus "Armor+5" and the bonus " Damage +2) the third bonus was supposed to be disabled but you clicked on it and it selected it ^^'.

  • Concerning the mistake in the intro text I'll make sure to correct it thank you
  • About the quantity of equipments, yeah there is only 3 presently. I am making a list of skills we usually see in platformers: blocking, dashing, double jump... but also other interesting abilities: to pass some enemies without fighting? Dealing more damage when near death? Being able to avoid a fight?
  • One other solution would be to add other Agents, I already designed 3 others that will have different skills (in term of damage, Health and Damage per sec)
  • I also keep in mind your comment about the jumping not being that necessary because it makes the level longer and there is not much to do except watching. I'll find a way to address that.

Interesting concept! Here's a few thoughts on my playthrough:

-- There needs to be more feedback for the player as to what's happening. Why was the ranged attack only fired sometimes? How much damage is being done? How often are the monsters attacking? I was able to get through the first three levels without dying, but I was less sure of why what I did worked.

-- Some sort of in-game decision for the player would keep the game more engaging. Maybe the player can disable one trap or monster per level, or give an attack buff, or something similar. Otherwise, why not just keep the speed to the max the whole time?

-- Graphic style was enjoyable, even for placeholder artwork

-- A wider variety of upgrade options would be needed. Right now, which upgrade is needed for which monster is pretty 1:1, but I assume that will change as more content is added.

-- One possible design idea: selecting a debuff for your hero to give them access to more or to stronger buffs.

Hello JGalecki thanks for playing =]. You make some really good points.

1. Before the battle it is possible to see how many time enemies attack on this screen:


Concerning the frequency of the Range weapon it is true I forgot to display it. The range attacks are used every, 7 seconds I think. I should inform the player about that.

2. In the earlier versions the user was able to make the character jump in order to take a different path that the character would never take on his own. I temporarily removed this possibility in order to focus on the core gameplay. I have another idea for actions the player could do, it may come after I polish a little bit more the game and develop new levels and enemies.

4. Yes, but most of all I'd like the possibility to choose between different agents. Some better in close combat, some better with range weapons etc...

5. What do you mean with this one? Can you give me an example?

Yeaah build 3.0 is up! Coffee Coffee Coffee

What will you find in this build:
  • The tutorial is shorter
  • We have a music for the game!
  • Adding a visual effect when damages are taken. It is now easier to see when characters get hit
  • Improving the design of one of the monster, the female wit hthe glasses
  • Added two more animations: now two monsters have an animation when they die
  • Added four pictures: it's not animated yet but monsters have a new design when they are defeated
  • Improvement of the texts: the wording makes the game easier to understand
  • There is now a chicken that runs freely in most of the levels. It appears randomly
