Oh man, I used to play Prince of Persia without a soundcard. I loved the music! Then I heard what it sounded like with one and nearly barfed. Seriously, it lost all of its charm to me.

Heh, for me it was smooth Lost Vikings PC-Speaker jazz. Sure, the rest of the game didn't have sound, but the menu screen was where it was at. 6 year old me thought it was pretty damn impressive. |

See, I'm just feeling a little bad about this thread, because we had that huge discussion about no goal, zero player, etc. a few weeks back and then it suddenly just stopped. Maybe that's how it usually works in this thread (I haven't been here long enough to know), but I find it strange; it would be nice if Derek told us which ones he was considering. Plus, there haven't been many serious suggestions since that discussion, or, at least, any that I found that interesting.

Well, I dunno. Kinda nice to have time to sit and review once in a while. I guess everyone's run out of steam all at once.
You know, it could be time for us to start picking next year's competitions. How's about we do a big read over and spend a while thinking on things. Could be useful.
