I sent a direct message to another user yesterday.  I signed in today to copy some information out of that message, but I have no messages in my outbox...

Does the outbox not function like I am expecting, or am I just imagining that I actually sent that message?

There's a checkbox at the bottom of the interface for sending a message to save a copy in your outbox. If it wasn't checked when you sent the message, I don't think there's a way to get access to what you sent. Seems like a weird system to me, but that's how the forum software does things.
