Hi, for our game we are looking to run a contest in the near future. We have an-game replay system, where users can watch their multiplayer matches and capture clips, so we were thinking a "best clip" sort of contest would be fun. To make the contest more exciting/drive in more users, we'd like to have some prizes...but as a small indie team, we don't exactly have a massive marketing budget. So I was wondering if anyone here had any experience getting sponsorship for their contests?

Our reach includes a Discord with ~8000 members and a Twitter with 1300 followers, but I'm not sure how much value that would translate to for an organization's marketing department. Ideally, the prize would be worth a few hundred bucks, and something in line with the game (it's a VR vs PC game, so graphics cards, VR headsets, etc). This is all new to me, so I'm looking for advice on how to get something like this going from anyone who's done this sort of thing before.

Thanks for any replies!
