Hey all- We're planning to add multiplayer support to our Checkers game.

We're trying to determine what to run on the server. We don't need real time entity syncing, so many of the multiplayer solutions we've looked seem like overkill. We started writing a websocket server running on nodejs, but I don't know if this is the right direction to go. Does anyone with experience in this area have suggestions?
