UPDATE:

I decided to develop this game completely in private. Will no longer post devlogs.

---

Hey everyone!

I am a solo game developer who is working on a somewhat ambitious project - a tile based base building / survival game set in space. Think RimWorld + Prison Architect + FTL. It will feature a procedurally generated space ship that is fleeing destroyed Earth. You will be given control over the ship after it suffers a major catastrophe. You will have to rebuild things, expand, ensure survival of the remaining people, etc.

This is not my first rodeo, I have a couple of released games under my belt (Bloody Rally Show [1] and Relaxicon [2]), so I hope I will be able to pull this one off in a few years. By the way, I am streaming most of the development process live on Twitch [3], you're welcome to drop by!

Without further ado, here is the first devlog video:

It's clear it's not your first rodeo if that's the progress you show in your first dev video!

Reminds me of RimWorld, but on a spaceship. Looks like it will be quite fun! Hand Any Key

Nice and good presentation! Good to see solo dev with finished projects. Smiley As that's kinda where I am aspiring to also. Wink

I like the space setup as astronomy and space is my cup of coffee (I made Universe Quiz game, it's on Steam as well). Even if I'm not totally into building games, I'll be happy to check your progress.

Cheers and good work! Beer!

Nice, ambitious! My goal is every 2 weeks, and still I can feel "pressure" if I'll have something new to report. Looking forward for new posts.
