"Star Dreams: A New World Awaits" is Space Adventure Game with some RPG elements, where you explore new worlds, gather resources, fight aliens and build a society.  You have to decide which planet you want to build your society on and how you will defend it.  The game will be multiplayer with 128 characters total.  Given that this is my first game ever, I don't have much to show right now other than artwork.  My background is in Maya so I made some models and textures to show my ideas so far.  I just downloaded Unity today, and I'm trying to learn how to import models into unity properly.  I have a little programming experience but it's definitely not a strength for me.  I also compose music, and have written songs for 8 years.

I want this game to be very colorful and unique, with lots of animated textures and cool 2D and 3D effects.  Please watch the following 3 videos to see where I'm at so far.  Any constructive advice or feedback is appreciated.  Thank you.

Wrote this theme song this morning.  Mixed feelings.  Might want something a little lighter and more fun for this game.  I think I'll write a few songs and see which one works best for a theme.

I changed the main theme song to something lighter, happier and triumphant.  I'm keeping my original composition as a "serious song" in the game when you are exploring the unknown or something. - Ronald J. Fontenot

Testing a run cycle based of the sprites of Secret of Mana as a reference.  Also testing Water Special effect while running and a music track I wrote titled "Star Zone: Journey to the Unknown"

I might put a few more frames in the run animation so it's a bit more smooth...

1. Updated models and textures
2. Updated rigs and animated new walk cycle
3. Imported animation from Maya into Unity, all worked except for transparent materials.
4. Wrote a new song for the game (skip to 5:25 in video above for the music)

Spent the last few days working on music.
This is one of the many tracks I wrote.
Please visit my Youtube channel for more space tracks for this game.  Thanks!
