Ereshkigal cultists (3 upgrades)


So now it is completly final decided: all enemies will be drawn in 3 versions, also with 2 upgrades, or to be more precise with one upgrade and one downgrade from the original version. We had a discussion with artist and well... we should communicate more, just to think a little bit about mechanics of an enemy BEFORE drawin, otherwise as always projectils, extra anmation sprites, damage types etc. will be easily forgotten.

P.S. Well... it is not the fastest development in history... but... well it is game of my dream :3 UwU RrrrRRrrr And all the work left is pretty a routine, just make more levels/ enemies / bosses + ccg and some translations of text / corrections. But nothing essential like physics or combat system are left, the hard staff is done :3

Well, it is managable. So 30+ monsters to go, and 30 already done (counts withount updates, it is x3 then). And the pipeline to make im is actually just a routine now, so it is not that hard anymore.

Goatax
It's a little unclear how best to balance the axes. On the one hand, if he throws too many at once, instead of accurate control comes out some kind of mishmash. Although dodge is usually still possible (well, if it's 1-2). Then each axe does less damage. Or can throw only 1, but with more damage. Now he throws 1-3 at random with medium. There are 2 more versions of him, Goetia Goatax is stronger and greases axes with darkness. Goatmaster.

In any case, it became much more interesting with him, because before there were no opponents who would shoot "overhang", and they are perceived differently than the usual archers or those who shoot in a straight line.

The mini-map is ready. The secret chests can only be seen by a very well-powered lionessy by the end of the game.

Lovely subtle animations. At first glance it looked like a static early 90s adventure game and I thought the movement was just an illusion. Quite unique, actually.
