This is my thread intro about the game Light vs Dark.
The game is not currently being developed but I am hoping to have the game funded through the kickstarter campaign and make it a reality - the kickstarter is here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lightvsdark/light-vs-dark

So to start things off, the game will be a web browser mmo and will involve picking a character to play, some of the options you will have at hand is the werewolf, vampire, elf or sorcerer. You will have special skill sets for each character and their respective tier advancements.

The aim of the game will be supernatural based and to create something a little different to what is already out there. you will be able to somewhat effect the world around you and it will actually be somewhat important to do so. You will have quests to accomplish but the game will not be so heavily based on making you do quests but to more enjoy the gameplay itself.

You will be able to level up with experience as per normal but you will also have certain things you will need to achieve to be able to tier up. I wont go in to everything that involves for each race but it will allow you to end up with a stronger character with advanced skills. The example you will see the most is there werewolf - being able to tier up to a pack leader or den leader werewolf and up to an alpha werewolf.

Some examples of skills for different races are as follows: Your basic vampire can hide in the shadows, appearing as mist when up close and close to impossible to detect further away. You can transform into a bat for fast small attacks such as on humans and as you tier up you will be able to mesmorize people and even shapeshift into a wolf. This is not the same as a werewolf though, you will appear as a actual wolf and is used for infiltration or sneak purposes as werewolves will naturally not attack wolves.

Any race will be able to influence townspeople to do either good or bad things and over time the overall faith or servitude to you will increase. As it does you will be able to do special things inside this town and will have a power boost to your skills. Sorcerers can magically train people so they can be sentries to help fight against invading dark forces.

There will be areas you can encounter that are populated with a particular race, such as caves that are werewolf dens and so on. You will also be able to participate in battle arenas dedicated to duelling players without affecting townspeople which can result in rewards of special gear when you receive enough points.

Now one of the things that is an obvious question at hand is 'what about werewolves'? Its not always a full moon? And werewolves don't wear armour?
Both are true, however in the game you will always start as a wolf who can transform at will which will only be ever hindered by a special skill cast by an angel that will stop this until your next full moon. Werewolves will also be able to wear special artifacts such as enchanted bracelets that will increase their power. 2nd tier wolves will also be able to wear specialised armour that can stop silver from effecting them as much as well.

There is a lot more that will be developed as we go on but I am hoping that for now, this has given you a good insight into the game and enough of a taste for it to want it to become a reality as much as I do.You can also view the youtube or facebook pages for more videos and info.
