I just started writing about topics that I feel I know a lot about, but have never given writing enough focus to improve to where I'm confident.  Would love feedback on my most recent post:

How Social Notifications Ruin Productivity and Cost You A Month Per Year
https://link.medium.com/t0wS6Ao0o9

also (same article) on my website: https://www.bigrookgames.com/2020/08/31/how-social-notifications-ruin-productivity-and-cost-you-to-lose-a-month-each-year/

Thank you!

Humans are social creatures, if you don't have any socialization things can go poorly:

Of course to come full circle I recommend this commic from Stephen King:

https://www.zenpencils.com/comic/king/

Where he talks about the problem of making work take up 100% of your life.

I completely agree that social engagement is important.

The focus is to avoid distractions rather than hiding from other people. Social tasks can be done purposefully instead of at the will of bordem or lack of focus in the middle of productivity.
