Looks like a lot of planning and a fully fledged game world rather than just a quick mock-up. Great. Any plans for this? Wow, my post is totally in the spirit of the thread title.

Yeah, this looks really cool! Never thought of laying out a game world like that. It seems like it'd be really, really helpful to get the game concept down (or even the entirety of the game world, if there's lots of back-tracking and moving back-and-forth).

I love the level of detail you're able to fit into such small areas, especially the outdoor areas with the variety of cliff and plant tiles, very cool and inspiring! Here's an older mockup I don't think I've posted yet

This is one of the most amazing fucking things i've seen here in a long time. I'm trying to pick a favorite room, but just for the name, Howly Hoot wins. Man, you gotta do something with this.

In the process of making an engine for a spooky computer hacking sort of kind of game. Still not sure what to make of it though. Anybody has an idea?

Seems like you might have jumped the gun a little, but that's still a pretty solid start.
Maybe something like you have to figure out a way to escape from a locked facility where a killer is trying to gain entrance? The game starts with the killer smashing a doorway that gives way in a few minutes - you have to use the computer to enable the security locks to get the killer off the door, buying you some more time. This continues, finding different mechanics and functions to avoid the killer until you survive a certain amount of time.

Thanks! I just used models I found on the sketchup warehouse website, so it wasn't too hard to put together. Your suggestion kind of reminds me of FNAF actually XD Also @xix: This looks really cool! Must have taken a while to do.

^ Really nice mock-ups! I think the shadows are a tad too dark, but otherwise, everything looks pretty nice!

^ That looks cool Armorman! Here's a mockup I made the other day that I think turned out pretty cool. You'd play as a knight with psychic powers exploring ancient libraries, labyrinths and dark cult-like churches.
