Spent my sunday making a reimagined The Immortal. I like that game. I think the original pixel art is better than anything I can make but I made it anyway.



Overedited and it got a bit too dark too.

I've been wanting to try out adhering to some retro/vintage console limitations. I wanted to go with the 2600 but after learning about how complicated that is I've settled on the Odyssey2. It seems simpler and there is virtually no info on it as far as I can tell so I can atleast pretend its simpler and no one can ruin it for me  Beg



I've made this mock up and think I'm gonna make world 1-1 trying to follow the rules just as a test.

messing around with Pyxel Edit for a bit today

Simple and clean tiles - I especially like the castle tiles. Very nice work.

Spent my sunday making a reimagined The Immortal. I like that game. I think the original pixel art is better than anything I can make but I made it anyway.

Not at all, I love those rock walls and the ground tiles. The door's nice too, though it could use a bit more contrast (an extra dark shade, I think, to "ground" it in the same world). I like the lighting as well - soft, but it makes a lot of difference.

You know how there's programmer art...should there be such a thing as artists game?

Made this thing a while back in an attempts to illustrate the mood of a point and click I wanted to make about a little maintenance robot on an intergalactic space ship carrying the DNA of all life on Earth...but kinda ended up just putting random and mostly pointless UI on top of an illustration Tongue



This one was made in studio when I was working at QCF Design during our prototype week...never ended up getting very far with it unfortunately, but I would have liked to keep making it. It was about scheming an Oceans 11 style heist.



And finally a couple of screenshot from one of my own first attempts at making an actual game in Unity. You play as a new chef trying to follow increasingly difficult recipes by grabbing and preparing them as instructed, whilst trying to prevent the Cat from stealing all your ingredients...
