Hi, we're a small team of amateurs and this is our very first project.
quaDrop is a tetromino game complete with highscore board, two game modes, music, sound effects and installer. The game is written in C# using the XNA framework. It's played via keyboard or XBox 360 game pad.
For tetromino veterans it has a lot to offer in terms of gameplay because you can do special moves and score extra points. Ever heard of a T-spin or an I-twist? The current shape can be moved and rotated as long as it glows even when already grounded. This allows maneuvering the shape in tight spaces.
The game is freeware, you can download in two versions: as msi installer package or as manual install. The installer has the XNA runtime on board and installs it if needed. The only prerequisite is that
.NET v3.5 is installed on your system.
If you don't like installers then you can do a manual install, just unzip the archive and you're done. You need to have
.NET v3.5 and
XNA v3.0 runtime installed in order to run the game.
Visit our
website (under construction) if you want to know more about the game.
You can download the game here:
quaDrop v1.0 msi installer (12.6 MB, including XNA runtime)
