did some very awesome organizational things to make the way I integrate writing into arrays super efficient for me.

i love doing this kind of stuff!!! efficient workflows!!! reducing the workflow down to just doing the parts you want to do, the way you want to do them Smiley Smiley

When I wasn't writing dialog today, I was spending time refining my integration process to make it easier for myself.

So, I really have nothing fancy to show today, but I've held back on showing a lot of content, so here is a tiny little taste : )

Mostly was adding encounters today. I've held off on adding polish as long as I could, but I did some today as a treat. The most nice of which I think is adding some padding to speech bubbles.

For me, I hold off on designing levels because it's a treat, always nice to get to end the project with your favourite task...

Yes, exactly! also thank you haha, and yeah 2 days, its coming along. Might not be as polished by the 31st as I wanted, but it's very close at least.

Progress Update for Friday[10/30/20]

Today I finished all integration of text arrays and added special events for characters. All thats left to do is finish polishing the audio as well as a secondary version of the settings menu for in game. After that, version 1.0 will be up on itch.io, hopefully by 3:00pm est : )

Oh shoot! I believe I have the ability to compile for Linux and Mac, but have yet to test on those platforms. I'll put up those builds most likely tomorrow/tonight because there is already an update im preparing that is fixing some stuff anyways lol.

Update: a Linux and Mac build should be available Monday or Tuesday. My Linux partition is not working currently and my Mac is at work.

Version 1.1 is out for Windows. I updated some dialog (clearly not all of it lmfao), fixed sound issues, polished some effects etc.

Right now I'm working on adding some neat particle effects, as well as a save/load option.

Additionally, I'm working on a niffty trailer featuring my cat and some leaves.

It's happening! Linux soon. Unfortunately have to settle for a VM compiled build for now until I can get some new hardware for my other machine. Hopefully it goes well. Mac will be soon too, however that's another device that seems to not want to boot properly. Tired
