This is a beginner / intermediate tutorial going over the creation of a good base master material in Unreal Engine. The tutorial is meant to be a "wish I would have known this when I started" kind of thing and incorporates the ability to adjust many useful parameters. The material can take color, roughness, metal, and normal maps.

The end result is very versatile, making the creation of a varying material instances a breeze. It's a great base to start from and expand in the future.

I added the graph here, so hopefully you can see it and it is useful. Just save it if you can't see it all.
