Hello, everyone. We are about to launch our first newsletter for the email marketing to our game. However, we don't have much of a gimmick for a lead magnet outside the music samples. We have two questions like how many music tracks can we include within the lead magnets, and for the second question is does the musician on our team gets paid for music tracks included with the lead magnet?

Hi!

Identify your game's hooks, and refine how you describe them. If you can't identify any hooks in your game, rethink the design and check resources such as Ryan Clark's videos:





Potential players are unlikely to pay any attention to your marketing until you can very concisely and effectively present the game's hooks.

Your second question is best handled with a contract, maybe with a lawyer. Develop a clear written agreement of what rights each of you have. (Is the work exclusive, or can the musician sell or use it elsewhere? Do you have rights only to use it in the game, in the game and marketing material, or for any purposes?)
